This will be the first Healthcare Building of its type for the National Healthcare Service in Mexico known as IMSS to be LEED Certified.
The building has proven environmental strategies which would reduce running costs and require very little maintenance.
Main of its features include green roofs, roof finishes and hardlandscaped areas with high SRI index, permeable paving, pre-treated water for urinals, wc and irrigation, daylight harvesting, mixed mode ventilation, high performance glazing, only 18% of glazing vs wall areas, low energy lighting, 39kWp of photovoltaic panels and solar water heating.

It sustainability strategy is focuse on reduce energy consumptions for cooling, the building has no heating, mixed mode ventilation and minimizing potable water.
