PROFILE

FRIGERIO DESIGN GROUP is an interdisciplinary workgroup lead by Enrico Frigerio. They consider an architectural project as a meeting point encompassing several issues: the relationship with nature, the history of the place, construction technique and the needs of the contractor. This meeting point generates SLOW ARCHITECTURE, a progressive architecture that lasts in time and is defined by the resources taken from the context of the site. An architecture that is slow in its method, time and processes. It is at the opposite end of globalization. We view the project as an integrated service that turns research and design into actual creations, architecture to be experienced as a whole; energy efficient, costeffective and socially sustainable. It is unique and defined by history, social profile and cost-effectiveness, in addition to the environmental and bio-climatic factors that become a part of the project. ENRICO FRIGERIO Graduated in Genoa in 1980, he joined the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, where he learnt the profession. In 1991, he set up the Frigerio Design Group, whose primary goal is quality and an environmentally friendly approach.

ENRICO FRIGERIO
Graduated in Genoa in 1980, he joined the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, where he learnt the profession.
In 1991, he set up the Frigerio Design Group, whose primary goal is quality and an environmentally friendly approach.
