What’s exciting about the Greenbuild Euromed? Explained by Rick Fedrizzi

The Greenbuild EuroMed International Conference and Expo, organized by Verona fiere and Green Building Council Italia, is opening its doors to public in Verona on 14-16th October, 2015. This is the first European edition of the world’s largest conference and expo dedicated to green building, bringing together thousands of building professionals from all over the world for educational sessions, inspiring talks, green building tours, special seminars and networking events.

Master Series speakers include key leaders of the green building industry such as Rick Fedrizzi, CEO and founding chair of the U.S. Green Building Council, and John Picard, co-founder of the U.S. Green Building Council and chief technology & design officer at HP Energy LLC, one of the best-known environmental consultants in North America.

The event will offer over 31 educational sessions to visitors, focusing on building performance, IEQ and product labelling schemes related to indoor environmental comfort, innovation in design and construction and much more.
Among the highlights, there are sessions dedicated to inspirational best practices such as the Renzo Piano’s bioclimatic skyscraper with its extraordinary use of natural light recently completed in Turin, and a session on the GBC Historic Building, the new green building certification system devoted to the sustainable refurbishment of historic buildings.
